This brooch/pendant necklace by Avon is a book piece. It is named "CRIMSON CREST THE CARDINAL" and is part of the AVON 1982 series of four necklaces the "Birds Of Nature. A versatile piece where you can also detach the pendant from the chain and wear it separately as a brooch. The brooch pendant is cameo-style made of ceramic with a cardinal bird painting, encased in gold-tone base metal, and measures approximately 1.5 inches in width and 1.3 inches in length. The chain necklace measures 20 inches in total length. The back of the brooch pendant is marked ©AVON and Crimson Crest The Cardinal on a raised cartouche. Secured with a round spring clasp closure that can easily be put on and taken off.
